Past Experience: The first time I ever played ice-hockey was October 2010! Been entranced by ice-hockey ever since I watched the Mighty Ducks as a kid. But as you would imagine, South Africa's not big on ice-hockey. When I was about 6 years old I went to Cape Town's one and only ice-rink (now housed inside a CASINO!) to find out if I could join an ice-hockey team. But they told me they only had an adult team. I settled for roller-hockey when I was about 10 but stopped playing after a few months. So being on the ice at last is so so cool!
